Everything below is written on the listing, published in our policies, or something you can ask us about directly. Nothing on this page is a claim you have to take on faith.

1. What We Guarantee

  • Jade jewellery is made with genuine natural jade, sourced through the studios we work with in China. We do not sell imitations, treated jade or synthetic material.
  • Every listing states the material, the finish and the setting it is made with.
  • Photographs show the piece and the material it is made from. Natural stone varies from piece to piece — that is a property of the material, not a fault.

2. What You Can Check Before You Buy

  • Material and finish — named on the product page, together with the wear context the piece suits.
  • Dimensions — length, diameter and weight are given so you can judge how a piece sits before it arrives.
  • Care — how to keep the piece looking as it did on the day it arrived.
  • Shipping and returns — making time, delivery window and the 30-day return terms are all published before checkout.

3. What Is Included, and What We Do Not Claim

  • Some pieces ship with a certificate of authenticity from us. Where a listing says so, it is in the box.
  • We do not publish laboratory gemmological certificates on this site, and we do not use grading as a selling point.
  • We do not describe a piece as an investment. Jade varies; we describe what a piece is, not what it might be worth later.
  • If a laboratory certificate or a particular grading matters for your purchase, write to us before you order and we will tell you what we can provide for that piece.

4. If a Piece Is Not as Described

  • Write to support@orientgem.com within 30 days of delivery. Unworn pieces in their original box can be returned; earrings and personalised pieces are excluded, for hygiene and make-to-order reasons. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
  • If a piece arrives damaged, or is not what the listing described, tell us before sending it back — that is a different case from a change of mind.
